We are delighted for our Assistant Estimator Laura Waite who has been shortlisted for the Construction News Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards 2023!

Laura has been shortlisted for the 'Rising Star in a Contribution to a Project' Category! Laura is a rising star both at Wilten and within the construction industry and deserves recognition for her accuracy, efficiency and hard work!

Joining Wilten initially in an administrative role targeted towards aftercare, Laura quickly demonstrated key skill sets beneficial to the preconstruction activities of the business, particularly focused towards estimating. Within a short period of time, Laura put into use underdeveloped company software and systems, tailored for construction estimating, and streamlined our internal processes for dealing with the large volume of information flow that is generated throughout a tender process.

Wilten are excited to continue to support and help Laura to develop her skills further this September at Moulton College for a HNC, Higher National Certificate, Construction and the Built Environment. The impact of Laura’s work has had a positive impact for the success of the business, helping Wilten Construction to secure 400% growth in the past financial year, with above industry profits being achieved.
