Island Site Royston, Ground-Breaking Ceremony!

Despite the wet and windy conditions, Wilten held a ground-breaking ceremony at Island Site in Royston last week, marking an exciting milestone for Wilten Construction. 

Wilten were awarded the Design & Build contract for a 20,775 sqft unit at Island Site, Royston, for repeat business Client, Kiafield Properties. The award of this contract follows on from our initial Trade Counter Unit scheme at Royston Gateway which we successfully completed in 2023. 

The ceremony was held with Kiafield and Stace in attendance to celebrate the great work that has already begun on site, including the site preparation and earthworks, setting the foundation for what will soon be a transformative development for the area.

Royston Gateway continues to be developed and once complete, will be made up of a mix of retail, commercial, research, and light industrial uses.
