On Monday 25th November Wilten held a Ground-Breaking Ceremony to mark the beginning of the Design and Build of a new, sustainable, 106,498 sqft Industrial Logistics facility at Unit B Railway Triangle, Portsmouth.
Unit B Railway Triangle is designed to achieve ESG targets of BREEAM Excellent, EPC A, and to also meet Fitwel enabled criteria. The building will incorporate internal two storey office accommodation together with external works including hard standings, car parking, landscaping, drainage, main service connections and offsite Section 278 Works.
We were delighted to host valued Client DTZ Investors and Quartz Project Services on site for this ceremony. Together we enjoyed a tour of the site where crushing, attenuation tanks, and cut and fill earthworks to formation are well underway.
Wilten are working in collaboration with DTZ Investors and the professional team Quartz Project Services, Hale Architecture, and Stantec to successfully deliver this modern industrial accommodation.

“We are pleased to have started works on site for the main construction at Unit B Railway Triangle with Wilten being appointed as the main contractor. The unit will be the only c.100k sq ft new build unit in the Portsmouth market and we look forward to completing the development”.
We are excited to see this development take shape, coming to life with each milestone we reach.
