Generating repeat business is at the heart of what we do and we are proud to announce that we have been awarded a second Design and Build contract at Gateway 14 with valued Client, Gateway 14 Ltd and Jaynic.
The project involves the development of a three-storey, state-of-the-art, and BREEAM Excellent Skills and Innovation Centre totalling 35,000 sqft within the heart of Gateway 14.
The project will run over the course of a 50 week programme. We are due to start on site this month, with the commencement of this project running concurrently with the completion of our initial contract with Gateway 14 Ltd and Jaynic at Plot 1600 for Bauder.
The centre has a strong emphasis on emerging industries connected to green and digital skills, and will support high growth start-ups, create jobs, and boost the local economy. The centre will include;
Flexible onsite learning and teaching spaces
Collaboration spaces
Training and meeting rooms
Cafe
Car parking spaces including EC charging provisions, motorcycle stands, bicycle stands
Landscaping, external works and services
When complete, the facility will become a mixed use scheme that attracts a variety of business users and young people. The centre will provide the following benefits for the area and occupier;
A hub for innovation and entrepreneurship
Local economic growth, meeting the business needs of growing sectors, and addressing skills gaps locally and within the Freeport area
Support for wildlife, ecology, and the working environment for employees within the Innovation Centre
