As part of our commitment to being a sustainable business, we have completed our reassessment with the Supply Chain Sustainability School and are delighted that we have moved from a Bronze to a Silver Badge!
The assessment covered a range of topics including Procurement, Digital, People, and Sustainability and we are proud to have improved in all areas since our initial assessment one year ago!
We have achieved and demonstrated:
Active Engagement: Regular participation in the Supply Chain Sustainability School by accessing resources, completing e-learning modules, and applying sustainable practices in design and construction
Company Learning Plan: Completing the sustainability self-assessment has created a Company Learning Plan. This includes areas of improvement and goals for further engagement and learning
Learning Credits by attending workshops e.g. the recent Annual Summit 2024
Progress across areas including reducing carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, reducing waste, maximising social value, and engaging with sustainable supply chains
Thank you #TeamWilten and our subcontractors for your commitment to integrating sustainable practices!
The Silver Badge is a stepping stone towards higher levels of achievement, and we look forward to implementing improvements to achieve the Gold Badge next year!
